17th Annual NBDF 

The North Bay Dance Festival is a unique and exciting event celebrating the insight and beauty of dance. This 16th annual festival will showcase several different styles of dance. Everything from the dynamics of Irish dancing to the flow of Modern dance will be performed and at this new and energetic event. Professional and semi-professional companies from San Jose to Santa Rosa are excited to share their work and visions through this positive community-oriented festival. The North Bay Dance Festival is hosted by The MovementLAB dance studio in Santa Rosa, CA.
​  Their mission is to promote the art of dancing in Northern California. 
NBDF hopes to unite the wonderful and diverse dance communities in our area.

What is the NBDF 

The North Bay Dance Festival is a community dance concert. It's purpose is to create a non-competitive and artistic performing opportunity for the greater dance community. This annual event showcases multiple genres of dance and music and is family friendly.

How Can You Participate? 

We welcome new companies each year and want to extend the invitation to all genres of dance. The choreographer or director needs to fill out the "application" online and submit by the due date. We select our groups based on their timely submissions and the content of the choreography. We are limited in the number of "similar" genres, music or movement similarities. We want each group to stand out from one another.
